Module overview

Advanced Tunnel & Underground Works Management turns Dolibarr into a complete professional platform to manage the entire life cycle of tunnels and underground structures — road, motorway, railway, metro and tramway tunnels, technical galleries, cut-and-cover tunnels and ancillary underground works — from studies and construction through operation, safety, monitoring, maintenance and renovation. It targets owners, road and rail operators, motorway concessionaires, local authorities, engineering firms and underground-works contractors. It adds 54 business objects, a control-room dashboard, decisional reporting, a REST API, an alert engine and a full demo dataset, without modifying the Dolibarr core.

Dashboard, reporting and alerts

A control-room dashboard (Tunnel Control Center) presents KPIs (tunnels, equipment availability, open incidents, critical alarms, monthly cost, SLA compliance) and an interactive synoptic of the tunnel portfolio with real-time status. A multi-tab reporting module covers assets, interventions, corrective and preventive maintenance, SLA, financials, compliance and energy. An alert engine flags faulty equipment, overdue maintenance and inspections, exceeded thresholds, critical stock, expiring warranties and controls.

Dolibarr integration

The module integrates with native Dolibarr modules: Third Parties, Contacts, Products, Services, Stock, Warehouses, Projects, Tasks, Contracts, Proposals, Sales Orders, Invoices, Interventions, Agenda and DMS. From a tunnel, site, work order or incident, users can create related Dolibarr objects (projects, interventions, quotes, orders, invoices, agenda events).

REST API and security

A secured REST API exposes tunnels, sections, equipment, inspections, sensors, readings, work orders, incidents and reports, with Dolibarr authentication, permission checks, filtering and JSON responses. The module uses fine-grained permissions, multi-entity support, CSRF protection, escaped output and parameterised SQL, and does not store any hard-coded secret.

Multilingual support

The interface is fully translated into French, English, Italian, German and Spanish. All menus, fields, buttons, statuses, messages and reports are translatable; no business text is hard-coded in the pages.

Demo data

A realistic demo dataset can be loaded and purged from the module configuration. It creates tunnel portfolios, tunnels, zones, technical systems, equipment, sensors, incidents, inspections, maintenance plans, work orders, construction sites, contracts, teams, stock and alerts — including edge cases (open incidents, overdue maintenance, critical alarms, expiring warranties) so every dashboard tile is populated.
