Building Electricity, Electrical Contracting & Low-Current Systems Management for Dolibarr (technical name: gestionelectricitebatiment) is a complete, native solution that turns Dolibarr into a professional platform for electrical contracting companies that design, install, commission, maintain, test, inspect and upgrade building electrical installations. It covers high-current power (courant fort / CFO), low-current / extra-low-voltage systems (courant faible / CFA / ELV), home automation (domotique), building management systems (GTB/GTC / BMS), lighting and emergency lighting (BAES), fire safety systems (SSI), access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, structured IT networks (VDI), optical fibre, telephony and intercom, photovoltaic generation and EV charging (IRVE). It runs entirely under custom/gestionelectricitebatiment/ without modifying the Dolibarr core, and covers the whole installation lifecycle across 54 native business objects and 5 languages (French, English, Spanish, Italian, German).
2. Business Objectives
The module lets an electrical contracting company manage all of its activities without any additional software: commercial prospecting, technical visits and metering, electrical design-office studies (calculation notes, power balance, single-line diagrams, selectivity, voltage-drop, earthing and lighting design), quotation, installation worksites (chantiers), commissioning, maintenance contracts, preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency response (outage, short-circuit, tripping, earth fault, overvoltage, arc flash), tests and measurements (insulation, earth resistance, continuity, thermography), regulatory controls (Consuel, periodic verification Q18), non-conformity and reserve handling, compliance upgrades (mises en conformité), spare-part logistics, tooling, warranties, subcontracting, claims/after-sales, invoicing, profitability tracking, reporting and complete installation history archiving.

4. Equipment & Installation Management
Each item of equipment has a complete record: identification (reference, serial number, barcode, unique QR code), classification into equipment families (main switchboards TGBT, distribution boards TD, cabinets and enclosures, UPS, gensets, transformers, PV inverters and panels, luminaires, emergency lighting BAES, motors and variable-speed drives, SSI fire panels, CCTV cameras, access controllers, IT racks, network switches, EV chargers), and full electrical characteristics — nominal voltage, current, number of phases, IP/IK rating, breaker calibre, breaking capacity in kA, autonomy and power. A component nomenclature (breakers, differential devices, contactors, relays, busbars, batteries, drivers, cells and modules) tracks lifespan, warranties and replacement dates, and a consolidated life-log records every event of the equipment.
5. Sites, Buildings & Technical Lots
A hierarchical model Customer -> Site -> Building -> Location / Technical Room -> Equipment organises the whole portfolio, with GPS coordinates, access conditions, main isolation and shut-off points, safety instructions, building type (17 types), earthing system (TT / TN-C / TN-S / TN-C-S / IT) and criticality. Installations are broken down into technical lots and systems (CFO, CFA, SSI, lighting, network, fibre, BMS, access control, CCTV, PV, IRVE). Every site and building shows its linked switchboards, circuits, cabling, equipment, contracts, interventions, inspections and claims.
6. Electrical Worksites (Chantiers)
Installation, extension and upgrade works are tracked as projects broken down into the full electrical sequence of phases (studies and calculation notes, plan validation, procurement, structural works and core drilling / percements, pre-wiring and cable trays, cable pulling / tirage des câbles, switchboard fabrication and installation, apparatus and fixture fitting, connections, testing, Consuel compliance, commissioning, provisional and definitive acceptance, reserve lifting, warranty start, DOE hand-over). Each project carries initial and revised budgets, real cost, margin, progress and a link to the native Dolibarr project.
7. Maintenance Contracts
Multiple contract types (simple, semi-full, full, all-inclusive, preventive-only, with breakdown cover, with on-call, parts-included, multi-technical, temporary, custom) with covered equipment and systems, visit frequency, coverage hours, contractual response and restoration times, included/excluded parts and labour, annual caps, penalties, indexation, billing periodicity and payment terms. 8. Preventive Maintenance
A planning engine generates preventive interventions from the equipment family, brand, age, environment, criticality, contract, regulation and manufacturer recommendations (periodic verification, thermographic survey, BAES autonomy test, SSI test, TGBT cleaning and torque check, RCD trip test, earth-resistance measurement). Frequencies are fully configurable (weekly to annual, or counter/hour/condition based). Job plans define operations, control points, required skills, electrical habilitations, PPE, tools and recommended parts; checklists cover every organ of the installation. Generation accounts for public holidays, absences and geographic grouping of rounds.
9. Corrective Maintenance & Breakdown Management
Faults and breakdowns can be declared from Dolibarr, the customer portal, a QR-code scan, e-mail, the REST API or a BMS/energy-meter feed. Each callout records the affected switchboard, circuit or equipment, urgency, safety flag, error code and symptoms (outage, tripping, short-circuit, earth fault, overvoltage, arc flash, no lighting). Full SLA timestamping (declaration, acknowledgement, dispatch, departure, arrival, make-safe / lockout, restoration, closure) drives automatic KPIs and penalty detection, and a root-cause analysis captures the failing component, probable cause, applied solution and repeat-failure detection.
10. Emergency Response & On-Call Duty
Interventions involving total power loss, short-circuit, fire-safety failure or safety-critical faults are highlighted immediately. Work permits and electrical lockout/consignation are managed to secure the intervention. An on-call planning organises available technicians per zone with escalation levels, back-up technicians and a call log, so out-of-hours emergencies are handled and traced end to end.
11. Technician Scheduling & Habilitations
Multiple planning views (day, week, month, per technician, per team, per zone, map, Gantt, workload) support drag-and-drop assignment, conflict detection, availability, required skills and electrical habilitations, travel time and SLA awareness. Technician competencies and electrical habilitations (B1V, B2V, BR, BC, H0 and equivalents, working-at-height, certifications) are tracked with expiry dates and alerts, and unqualified assignments are flagged.
12. Spare Parts & Stock
An electrical spare-part catalogue (circuit breakers MCB, differential devices RCD/RCBO, contactors, relays, drivers and LED modules, luminaires and BAES, UPS batteries, cables U-1000 R2V / H07V-K / CR1 / UTP / fibre, conduits ICTA, trunking and cable trays, switches, cameras, access controllers, network switches) is integrated with native Dolibarr products, warehouses, lots and stock. Movements are created automatically on reservation, consumption, return and receipt; minimum-stock alerts, purchase requests and supplier orders support replenishment. Tooling and measuring instruments are tracked with reservations and calibration follow-up.
13. Tests, Inspections & Regulatory Compliance
Measurements and tests (insulation resistance, earth resistance, continuity, loop impedance, RCD trip, thermography, lighting levels) are recorded per circuit and equipment. Regulatory controls (Consuel initial compliance, periodic verification Q18, SSI and BAES checks) are planned per approved body, with results, reserves, non-conformities, gravity, correction deadlines, proof of correction, counter-visits and certificates. 17. Reporting
A full reporting menu produces filterable, printable and exportable reports (PDF, Excel, CSV) on the installed base, maintenance, faults and breakdowns, contracts, finance, technical indicators, tests and measurements, regulatory obligations, energy consumption and workforce load, with saved filters, templates and scheduled e-mail delivery.
18. Customer Portal
A secure client portal lets customers view their sites, buildings, switchboards and equipment and their status, declare a fault or breakdown, follow an intervention, download reports and test certificates, consult contracts, inspections, invoices and quotations, sign documents, submit a claim and answer a satisfaction survey, each customer accessing only its own data.
19. REST API & Interoperability
A secure REST API exposes equipment, faults/breakdowns, interventions, planning, contracts and dashboard data, and accepts telemetry feeds (energy-meter readings, kWh, load, error codes) from BMS/GTB gateways and IoT devices. It uses Dolibarr authentication and permissions, per-route access control, logging and configurable outbound webhooks, so a mobile app or a building-management gateway can synchronise with the module. Advanced/predictive features are modular and can be disabled from configuration; the core works with no external service.
20. Security & Rights

Bidirectional links with native modules: Third parties & contacts, Proposals, Sales & Supplier orders, Customer & Supplier invoices (including recurring billing), Products & Services, Stock & Warehouses, Projects & Tasks, Agenda, Contracts and the Document/ECM store, so quotes, orders, invoices, stock movements, projects and calendar events are created and linked from the electrical business objects.
22. Demo Data
A one-click demo generator seeds a realistic dataset (customers, sites, buildings, switchboards and cabinets of several brands and families, circuits and protections, cabling, equipment, design studies, contracts, interventions, faults and breakdowns, technicians with habilitations, plannings, spare parts, tests and measurements, regulatory controls, non-conformities, electrical worksites and billing links) so every feature can be tested immediately. A second button safely removes only the demo-tagged data, with confirmation, permission check and a deletion report.

24. Installation Instructions
· Download module_electricite_batiment-1.0.zip.
· In Dolibarr: Home -> Setup -> Modules/Applications -> Deploy/install external module, and upload the ZIP (or unzip into htdocs/custom/).
· Enable 'Gestion Électricité Bâtiment Advanced' in the module list; tables, menus, permissions and demo data are created on activation.
· Configure the module (currency, numbering, SLA, billing, alerts, API) from its Setup page, then grant the relevant permissions to your users.
