. Overview

Menuiserie Management Pro turns Dolibarr into a complete, ready-to-sell ERP dedicated to joinery, carpentry and window-fabrication companies working in wood, aluminium and PVC. It covers the full business cycle - from commercial prospecting and quoting, through technical study, manufacturing and on-site installation, to invoicing, quality control and reporting - while natively enriching the standard Dolibarr modules (third parties, products, proposals, orders, invoices, contracts, stock, projects, agenda, HR and the document management system).

The module ships with a premium wood-charter dashboard, a drag-and-drop commercial pipeline, a 14-report reporting hub with CSV / Excel / PDF export, an automation engine and a one-click demonstration dataset generator. It is multilingual (French, English, Italian, German, Spanish), multi-entity and multi-company ready.

Key figures

·       20 dedicated business objects (clients, quotes, work catalogue, orders, technical studies, products, manufacturing orders, bills of materials, workshops, machines, worksites, teams, raw materials, staff, time-tracking, maintenance, quality controls, non-conformities, CRM activities, automation rules).

·       Premium executive dashboard with 18 KPIs and 5 charts (revenue, production, worksites status, sales mix by material, material consumption).

·       Drag-and-drop commercial pipeline (Kanban) with 6 stages.

·       14 cross-functional reports (commercial, production, financial, HR, worksites, stock) exportable to CSV, Excel and PDF.

·       Full demonstration dataset (1200+ coherent records) generated and removed in one click.

2. Executive Dashboard

The home screen is a premium, wood-charter cockpit that aggregates the whole business at a glance. KPIs are grouped into five zones - Commercial & CRM, Production & manufacturing, Worksites & installation, Finance & margins, and Stock / HR / Quality - each with colour-coded cards and live charts.

Highlights

·       Commercial: number of quotes, total quoted amount, number of orders, yearly revenue.

·       Production: manufactured & delivered products, workshop load, machine load, productivity rate, scrap rate.

·       Worksites: active / completed / late worksites and average progress.

·       Finance: monthly and yearly revenue, gross and net margin.

·       Stock / HR / Quality: stock value, active staff, open non-conformities, customer satisfaction.

·       Charts: monthly revenue, monthly production, worksites by status, sales split by material (wood/alu/PVC), material consumption.

3. CRM & Commercial Pipeline

A specialised CRM manages prospects, customers, architects, design offices and property developers. The commercial pipeline is a drag-and-drop Kanban board: simply drag a card from one stage to the next and the status is saved automatically (AJAX).

Highlights

·       Six pipeline stages: Prospect, Contacted, Visit/Survey, Quote sent, Negotiation, Order signed.

·       Each card shows the client name, town, client type and estimated budget.

·       Client records keep the full history (quotes, orders, worksites, activities) and link to the native Dolibarr third party.

·       CRM activities (calls, emails, meetings, visits, follow-ups) are logged and reportable.

4. Clients, Architects & Developers

The client repository centralises every business relationship with a dedicated type (prospect, customer, architect, design office, property developer), segment, source, sales representative and estimated budget. Every list offers column show/hide, compact filters and one-click access to the record card.

Highlights

·       Native Dolibarr third-party linking for invoicing and accounting continuity.

·       Per-record cockpit summarising stage, type and estimated budget plus linked records.

·       Quick-create of linked objects (quotes, orders, worksites, activities) directly from the card.

5. Joinery Quotes & Work Catalogue

Carpentry quotes support standard, custom and library modes with surface (m2), linear (lm), unit and quantity costing, plus a margin percentage. A reusable work & material catalogue (doors, windows, shutters, wardrobes, dressings, kitchens, stairs, pergolas, gates, glazed facades) accelerates quoting.

Highlights

·       Quote types: standard, custom, library.

·       Costing by surface / linear / unit with automatic margin.

·       Work catalogue with family, material, unit, unit price, labour hours and material cost.

·       Native link to Dolibarr proposals for official documents and signature.

6. Orders (Customer & Supplier)

Customer and supplier orders track the conversion of quotes into firm commitments, with an order phase, progress percentage, amounts and delivery date, and a native link to Dolibarr orders.

Highlights

·       Order types: customer / supplier.

·       Phase tracking: preparation, manufacturing, installation, delivery, closed.

·       Progress and delivery-date monitoring.

7. Technical Studies

Technical studies capture on-site measurements, plans, technical drawings and the client validation workflow before manufacturing starts. Each study records openings count, total surface, plan and drawing references and a validation status.

Highlights

·       Study types: survey, plan, drawing, validation.

·       On-site measurements, plan & drawing references.

·       Client validation workflow (pending / validated / to correct) with validator and date.

8. Product Catalogue

The joinery product catalogue describes every manufacturable item by category (door, window, wardrobe, kitchen, stair, pergola, gate, facade), material (wood / aluminium / PVC), finish, dimensions, colour, glazing and hardware, with a unit price and an optional link to a native Dolibarr product.

Highlights

·       Categories: doors, windows, wardrobes, kitchens, stairs, pergolas, gates, glazed facades.

·       Materials: wood, aluminium, PVC; custom-made flag.

·       Full dimensional and finish specification.

9. Manufacturing Orders & Bills of Materials

The manufacturing module drives production from order to delivery. Each manufacturing order references the order, product, client, quantity, workshop, machine and operator, with a production phase, progress and a full cost breakdown (material, labour, machine, total) and scrap rate. A bill of materials lists every component (raw material, hardware, glass, accessory, consumable) with quantity and cost.

Highlights

·       Manufacturing order with workshop / machine / operator assignment.

·       Production phases: to launch, cutting, assembly, finishing, control, finished.

·       Cost breakdown: material + labour + machine = total cost, with scrap rate.

·       Bill of materials (BOM) lines with component type, quantity, unit and line cost.

10. Workshops & Machines

Workshops and machines model the production capacity. Workshops carry a weekly capacity, load percentage, manager and specialty. Machines (CNC, saws, planers, edge-banders, laser cutting, compressors) track brand, model, hourly cost, load, availability and maintenance dates.

Highlights

·       Workshops with capacity, load, manager and machine/worker counts.

·       Machines by type with hourly cost, load and availability.

·       Last / next maintenance dates feeding the maintenance module.

11. Worksites & Teams

Worksite management covers in-progress and completed sites with address, site manager, installation team, planning, progress, budget, spent budget and delay tracking. Installation teams group fitters by specialty and zone.

·       Site status: planned, in progress, installation, hand-over, finished.

·       Installation teams with leader, members, zone and availability.

12. Planning

A consolidated planning view lists the upcoming deadlines for manufacturing orders, worksites and machine maintenance, so the production manager can anticipate the workload.

Highlights

·       Upcoming manufacturing orders, worksites and maintenance in one place.

13. Raw-Material Stock

A joinery-specific stock manages raw materials by type (wood, aluminium, PVC, hardware, glass, consumables), with wood essence, thickness, length and width, quantities, min/max thresholds, unit price, stock value, supplier and location. Low-stock alerts surface on the dashboard.
