Product Overview

Complete Hypermarket Management for Dolibarr is a complete, native business solution that turns Dolibarr into a professional management platform for hypermarkets, supermarkets and large-format retail stores. It brings the entire grocery and general-merchandise operation into a single system: multi-store organisation, sales-floor and back-office departments, product assortment and planograms, multi-level pricing, supplier and purchasing-group relationships, procurement and receiving with date and temperature control, stock and location management, batch and expiry tracking (DLC/DDM) with FEFO rotation, inventories, inter-store transfers and shelf replenishment, checkout and point-of-sale (including TakePOS), a full promotions engine, customer loyalty, returns, claims, product recalls, shrinkage and loss control, food-safety and HACCP temperature logging, staff and task planning, equipment and maintenance, incident tracking, a centralised alerts hub and an extensive decision-support reporting suite.

The module is delivered as a standard Dolibarr add-on installed under htdocs/custom/gestionhypermarche and does not modify the Dolibarr core. It is built around 37 dedicated business objects, exposes its data through a secure REST API, and ships with realistic, audit-safe demo data so every feature can be evaluated immediately. It is available in five languages (French, English, Spanish, Italian and German).

Target Users

Gestion Hypermarché is designed for every role involved in running a modern large-format retail store or a chain of stores:

·       Hypermarket and supermarket chains operating one or many stores under a shared assortment and pricing policy.

·       Store managers and deputy managers steering daily sales, stock, staffing and profitability.

·       Category managers and merchandisers building assortments, planograms and promotional plans.

·       Buyers and procurement teams negotiating with suppliers and purchasing groups and issuing replenishment orders.

·       Receiving and warehouse staff handling deliveries, date and temperature checks, put-away and transfers.

·       Cashiers and front-end supervisors operating checkout, returns, refunds and Z reports.

·       Quality, hygiene and HACCP managers monitoring the cold chain, temperature logs and food-safety compliance.

·       Maintenance and technical managers tracking equipment, preventive maintenance and incidents.

·       Loss-prevention and inventory controllers reducing shrinkage and reconciling stock.

Business Challenges It Solves

Large-format food retail runs on thin margins and perishable inventory, where small operational failures quickly erode profitability. Gestion Hypermarché directly addresses the challenges that matter most:

·       Stockouts and lost sales — replenishment alerts, reorder points and inter-store transfers keep shelves full.

·       Shrinkage and losses — structured recording of unknown loss, theft, breakage and waste with cause analysis.

·       Expiry and waste losses — DLC/DDM batch tracking with FEFO rotation and near-expiry alerts cut markdowns and dumps.

·       Margin control — multi-level pricing, buy-price tracking and margin reporting protect gross margin by category.

·       Supplier performance — service level, lead time, delivery compliance and non-conformity tracking per supplier.

·       Promotion ROI — a promotions engine that measures uplift, cost and net contribution of each campaign.

·       Food safety and HACCP — temperature logs, cold-chain monitoring and traceability for audits and recalls.

·       Regulatory recalls — fast, traceable product-recall handling linked to affected batches and suppliers.

Key Benefits

·       One integrated system replacing spreadsheets and disconnected tools across every store function.

·       Native Dolibarr integration — reuses third parties, products, stock, warehouses, orders and invoices.

·       Real-time visibility through the Retail Command Center dashboard (24 KPIs and interactive charts).

·       Full perishable-goods lifecycle: receiving temperature control, batches, expiry and FEFO rotation.

·       Lower losses through disciplined shrinkage recording, near-expiry alerts and inventory accuracy.

Native Dolibarr Integrations

Gestion Hypermarché is built on top of standard Dolibarr modules and reuses their data rather than duplicating it, so the retail processes stay connected to the rest of the ERP:

·       Third parties — suppliers, purchasing groups and customers.

·       Products — the shared product catalogue used for assortment and pricing.

·       Stock — real stock levels and movements.

·       Warehouses — stores, backrooms and cold storage as warehouses/locations.

·       Batches — lot and expiry tracking for perishable goods.

·       Supplier orders — procurement and replenishment purchase orders.

·       Invoices — customer and supplier invoicing.

·       TakePOS — point-of-sale checkout and Z reports.

·       Projects — for campaigns, refits and cross-functional initiatives.

·       Agenda — scheduling of tasks, controls and maintenance.

·       ECM/GED — document storage for procedures, certificates and records.

REST API

The module exposes a secure REST API using Dolibarr authentication and permissions, so mobile apps, store terminals and external systems can read and write retail data:

·       Read access to stores, departments, assortment, batches, sales, alerts and tasks.

·       Create endpoints for tasks, temperature readings, shrinkage records and stock transfers.

·       Per-route access control aligned with the module's permission groups.

·       Standard Dolibarr API authentication, with parameterised, escaped queries throughout.

Security

Security and data integrity are enforced at every layer:

·       Granular permissions across 18 permission groups mapped to store and back-office roles.

·       CSRF protection on all state-changing actions.

·       Prepared and escaped SQL queries to prevent injection.

·       Audit-safe demo data that can be seeded and safely removed for evaluation and training.

Multilingual Support

The interface and business vocabulary are fully translated, so the module can be deployed across international store networks:

·       French (Français)

·       English

·       Spanish (Español)

·       Italian (Italiano)

·       German (Deutsch)
