. Overview

OF Management Pro transforms Dolibarr ERP/CRM into a true GPAO (Gestion de Production Assistee par Ordinateur) / MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) solution. It lets industrial companies plan, launch, track and cost their entire production: manufacturing orders, multi-level bills of materials, operating routings, workshops and work-centers, machine park, operators and teams, production declarations, raw-material stock, quality control and full industrial costing — all on top of native Dolibarr data.

The module is designed to be powerful enough for a wide range of industries:

·       Manufacturing industry and production plants

·       Food processing

·       Textile

·       Metalworking

·       Woodworking & joinery

·       Plastics processing

·       Electrical and mechanical industries

·       Furniture manufacturing

·       Industrial assembly

It follows the complete commercial-to-production flow and keeps it linked to native Dolibarr documents:

Quote → Order → Manufacturing Order (OF) → Production → Delivery → Invoice

2. Industry 4.0 Production Dashboard

A premium real-time control center, completely different from the standard Dolibarr home page, inspired by MES / SAP / Odoo manufacturing cockpits. It uses an industrial colour charter (industrial blue, production green, workshop orange, alert red, steel grey).

Industrial alerts

Six clickable alert tiles give an immediate health check of the shop floor:

·       Late manufacturing orders: OF past their planned end date

·       Low stock: raw materials at or below their minimum level

·       Machines down: machines flagged as broken-down

·       Critical quality: open critical non-conformities

·       Maintenance due: maintenance operations past their planned date

·       Workshop overload: workshops loaded above 90%

Real-time KPIs

KPI cards are grouped into five zones — Manufacturing orders, Production & yield, Load & capacity, Quality & scrap, Costs & margins — covering all the indicators requested for shop-floor steering:

·       OF created, in progress, completed and late; progress rate and on-time delivery rate

·       Quantity produced and remaining; yield rate and scrap rate; theoretical vs real time

·       Workshop / machine / operator load; average OEE (TRS); global productivity; active machines and operators

·       Production cost, revenue generated and production margin; open non-conformities; stock value

Charts

·       Monthly production (bars)

·       Manufacturing orders by phase (pie)

·       Machine load (bars)

·       Scrap evolution (line)

·       Manufacturing cost split — material / labour / machine / overhead (pie)

·       Theoretical vs real time (bars)

3. Manufacturing Orders (OF)

The manufacturing order is the central object of the module. Each OF carries the product to make, the linked client, its bill of materials and routing, the native Dolibarr order and project, quantities (to make / produced / scrap), priority, the assigned workshop, machine, operator and team, and the full cost breakdown.

Production workflow

Each OF follows a complete workflow, visualised as a Kanban production board with drag & drop between phases:

Draft → Validated → Planned → Launched → In production → Quality control → Completed → Closed

Industrial costing

For every OF the module tracks and computes:

·       Material cost: from the bill of materials

·       Labour cost: from operators and time

·       Machine cost: from machine hourly rates

·       Overhead: indirect charges

·       Total cost: theoretical vs real, with variance

·       Margin: sale price minus total cost

·       Times: theoretical vs real production time

4. Bills of Materials & Routings

Bills of materials (BOM)

Multi-level bills of materials with versions and revisions. Each BOM lists its components (raw materials, sub-assemblies, accessories, consumables) with quantity, unit, loss rate and unit/line cost. Material and global costs are computed automatically.

Operating routings (gammes)

Routings define the ordered sequence of operations to manufacture a product, with standard times and resources. Each operation has a type (cutting, assembly, welding, painting, control, packing, shipping), a sequence number, an assigned workshop and machine, a setup time, a run time, an hourly cost and a computed operation cost. The total standard time and total routing cost are rolled up.

5. Workshops, Machines & Resources

Workshops, lines & work-centers

·       Capacity & load: weekly capacity hours and current load percentage

·       Indicators: number of machines and operators, productivity, type (workshop / line / work-center)

Machine park

A full machine register with availability, run and stop hours, hourly cost, serial number, brand and model, acquisition date and maintenance scheduling. The module computes the OEE / TRS (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and tracks maintenance, breakdowns and downtime.

Operators & teams

Operators (operator, setter, team leader, technician, controller) with skills, certifications, hourly rate and productivity. Teams group operators by shift (morning / afternoon / night) and workshop. Time-tracking records hours worked, absences and the OF / workshop / machine they were spent on.

6. Production Declaration

A dedicated console lets shop-floor staff declare produced quantities, scrap and time spent against a manufacturing order. The module then computes the yield and productivity automatically and updates the linked OF (produced quantity, scrap, real time, progress and phase) in real time — no double entry.

7. Quality Control & Non-Conformities

·       Quality controls: in-process, final and incoming controls with result, score and checklist; number checked / OK / KO

·       Non-conformities: type, severity (minor / major / critical), scrap quantity and cost, description, corrective action and status

·       Scrap & corrective actions: scrap is costed and traced back to the OF and control

·       Quality history: every control and non-conformity is kept and reported by severity

8. Production Stock & Material Flows

Raw materials are managed with stock quantity, minimum / maximum levels, unit price, stock value, supplier, location and an optional link to a native Dolibarr product. OF stock moves trace component consumption, finished-goods entry and component issue, each linked to the OF, product or material, warehouse, quantity and value.

9. Industrial Costing

The module consolidates the four cost families — materials, labour, machines and overheads — plus subcontracting, and computes theoretical cost, real cost, variance and margin for every manufacturing order, with roll-ups by phase and by priority in the reporting hub.

10. Scheduling & Production Board

·       Kanban production board: drag & drop OF between production phases

·       Scheduling view: upcoming OF and maintenance deadlines plus a workshop-load overview

·       Workshop / machine / operator load: capacity vs load with colour-coded thresholds

11. Advanced Reporting

A dedicated reporting hub provides 13 ready-made reports, each exportable to PDF, Excel and CSV and printable:

·       Production by phase

·       Manufacturing orders by priority

·       Yield & scrap by month

·       Machine load & OEE

·       Operator productivity

·       Quality controls

·       Non-conformities by severity

·       Manufacturing cost split

·       Production margins

·       Stock valuation

·       Stock alerts

·       Material consumption

·       Machine maintenance

12. Automation, Alerts & Premium Capabilities

An automation & alert engine runs daily (cron) and on demand. Built-in rules cover late OF, low stock, machine breakdown, critical quality, maintenance due and automatic closing of completed OF. The engine is designed to be extended with Email / SMS / WhatsApp notifications.

Premium-oriented design (industrial journal, full historisation, multi-workshop / multi-site / multi-warehouse, OEE / TRS computation, Kanban and scheduling) prepares the ground for QR-code OF / machines / products, touch shop-floor screens and operator sign-off.

13. Native Dolibarr Integration

OF Management Pro enriches and reuses native Dolibarr modules rather than duplicating them:

·       Third parties & contacts

·       Products & services

·       Stock & warehouses

·       Quotes, orders & invoices

·       Suppliers & shipments

·       Projects & tasks

·       HR & agenda

·       Contracts & document management (DMS)

Each manufacturing order can be linked to a native order, project and product, and finished orders feed the native invoicing flow.

14. Demonstration Data & Configuration

From the Setup page an administrator can install a realistic demonstration dataset in one click (manufacturing orders, BOMs, routings, products, materials, workshops, machines, operators, teams, declarations, controls, non-conformities, stock moves, time entries, plus native customers, suppliers and products) and remove it securely just as easily. Default currency, default overhead rate and default VAT rate are configurable.
