1. Overview

Plasturgie Management turns Dolibarr into a complete industrial management tool dedicated to the transformation of plastic materials. It lets a plastics-processing company run its entire operation — from prospect and sales order to manufacturing, quality control, dispatch and invoicing — without any external business software.

Covered processes: injection moulding, extrusion, extrusion blow moulding, injection blow moulding, thermoforming, rotomoulding, compression moulding, compounding, granulation, recycling, grinding, assembly, finishing, quality control and the maintenance of machines and moulds.

Main flow: Prospect -> Quotation -> Sales order -> Planning -> Manufacturing order -> Material reservation -> Mould assignment -> Machine assignment -> Production -> Quality control -> Storage -> Dispatch -> Invoicing.

2. Technical compatibility

·       Dolibarr 16 to 23 and later versions; PHP 7.1+ and PHP 8.

·       MySQL / MariaDB; single- and multi-entity installations; SaaS-friendly.

·       Responsive: desktop, tablet, smartphone, industrial touch screen and large supervision display.

·       Never modifies Dolibarr core: uses classes, hooks, extrafields, business objects, REST API, cron jobs, permissions, PDF models, the translation system and declared menus.

3. Multilingual

The module ships fully translated in French, English, Spanish, Italian and German. No user-visible string is hard-coded; every label is prefixed to avoid cross-module translation collisions.

4. Modern dashboard

A dashboard unlike the classic Dolibarr ones, designed to evoke a modern plastics factory (industrial blue, petrol blue, turquoise, performance green, alert orange, incident red, metal grey, technical violet).

·       One card per machine with a colour code: green (in production), blue (preparation), orange (slowdown), red (breakdown), violet (mould change), yellow (maintenance), grey (idle).

·       Each machine card shows the manufacturing order, product, mould, planned and produced quantity, progress, cycle time, scrap rate and operator.

Key performance indicators

·       Production of the day / week / month, planned vs produced quantity, completion rate.

·       Orders in progress and late, average cycle time, yield, OEE / overall equipment effectiveness, machine availability, performance and quality rate.

·       Scrap rate, recycled-material rate, material and energy consumption, downtime, number of breakdowns.

·       Production cost, scrap cost, average margin, critical stock, pending controls and due maintenance.

·       Formulations and blends: base material, recycled material, colorant, masterbatch, additives, stabilisers, fillers, plasticisers with percentage, tolerance and incorporation order; versioning and validation.

6. Production (MRP / GPAO)

·       Manufacturing routings: material preparation, drying, dosing, mixing, feeding, transformation, cooling, demoulding, cutting, deburring, assembly, decoration, control, packaging, palletising — each with machine, setup and cycle time, rate and cost.

·       Manufacturing orders with a full lifecycle (draft, planned, validated, materials reserved, in preparation, ready, launched, in progress, suspended, finished, controlled, closed, cancelled).

10. Purchasing, sales and cost

·       Approved-supplier register with conformity rate, on-time rate, rating, audit and certificate expiry.

·       Cost-price calculation: material, recycled material, colorant, additive, machine, mould, labour, energy, maintenance, quality, packaging, logistics, scrap and overhead; total cost, unit cost, invoiced price and margin.

11. Reporting

·       Reports on production, by machine, quality, non-conformities, maintenance, scrap, energy, cost, suppliers and traceability.

·       Multi-criteria date filters; export to CSV, Excel, Word and PDF.

12. REST API

·       Secured REST API (token authentication, permission-gated) exposing every object type, plus an aggregated production-KPI endpoint.

·       Sort-field whitelisting, entity isolation and technical-field cleaning on output.

13. PDF documents and automation

·       PDF models including the manufacturing-order traveler sheet (fiche suiveuse) and a generic record sheet, available from every object card.

·       Daily cron job raising alerts for lots reaching expiry and preventive-maintenance plans falling due.

14. Demonstration data

A realistic, FK-coherent demonstration dataset can be installed and removed from the module configuration (workshops, machines, moulds, materials, formulations, products, BOMs, routings, customers, suppliers, manufacturing orders, production declarations, controls, non-conformities, work orders, lots, recycling, costs and energy).

All demonstration rows are technically tagged (import_key = PLASDEMO) so that removal never deletes real records.

15. Security and performance

·       CSRF and XSS protection, prepared/escaped queries, data validation, permission checks, action logging and API protection.

·       Optimised SQL with indexes, pagination, AJAX and cached charts.
