Discover powerful Dolibarr extensions designed to automate your business processes

Scientific Research Center Management transforms Dolibarr into a specialized, production-ready ERP for scientific research organizations. It lets a research center manage all of its activities from a single platform — human scientific resources, laboratories, projects, funding, scientific output, equipment, partnerships and indicators — without resorting to any third-party software.
The module is built entirely on Dolibarr development standards for full forward-compatibility, and reuses the native Dolibarr modules (Third parties, Projects, Products, Invoices, Contracts, Agenda, ECM, REST API, Multi-company) rather than duplicating their functionality. Every scientific object can be linked to native Dolibarr records.
The module ships with 26 business objects, a premium science-themed dashboard, an interactive project pipeline, a 17-report analytics center, a realistic demonstration dataset, and full localization in five languages.

The module is fully translated into French, English, Spanish, Italian and German. Every string lives in the standard Dolibarr language files (328 keys per language).
The configuration page exposes two buttons — Install demonstration data and Remove demonstration data. Installing generates a realistic, self-consistent dataset (~1,000 rows) covering researchers, laboratories, teams, platforms, projects with work packages/deliverables/milestones, experiments and samples, funding, calls, publications, patents, equipment with bookings, partners, contracts, missions, events, trainings, skills, expenses and indicators — plus native Dolibarr third parties, invoices and products. Removal performs a clean, secure purge of everything created.
· Standards: Dolibarr development standards, PHP 8+ compatible, MariaDB/MySQL
· Architecture: MVC with a central object registry and a generic list/card engine for maintainability and easy extension
· Security: escaped SQL queries, multi-entity scoping, CSRF token protection, XSS-safe output escaping
· Permissions: granular rights across 8 domains (researchers, labs, projects, funding, publications, equipment, partners, events) plus reporting and administration
· Upgrades: automatic schema self-repair (ALTER TABLE) on activation — no data loss on updates
· Robustness: logging (dol_syslog), defensive best-effort creation of native objects, versioned demo dataset
· Complete Dolibarr module (26 objects, generic engine, descriptor)
· Install & uninstall SQL for all tables (llx_research_center_*)
· Language files (FR, EN, IT, DE, ES)
· Icons and graphic resources (science charter, atom motif)
· Technical, installation and user documentation
· Installable / removable demonstration dataset
· Schema migration (self-healing) support
· Granular user permissions
· PDF/CSV/Excel report exports
· Premium dashboards and interactive pipeline
· Validated live on Dolibarr 17 (26 tables, 26 rights, 32 menus, 0 fatal errors)
