Supply Chain Management Pro - Dolibarr

1. Overview

Supply Chain Management Pro turns Dolibarr into a complete, end-to-end Supply Chain Management (SCM) platform. It covers the entire value chain of an industrial, commercial or logistics company: purchasing, suppliers, procurement and replenishment, demand forecasting, stock, warehouses, inventories, receptions, shipments, distribution centers, transport, logistics fleet, traceability, supplier contracts, real-time alerts, an executive Supply Chain Control Tower and advanced Business Intelligence reporting.

The module is fully integrated with native Dolibarr (products, services, third parties, supplier orders, warehouses, invoices, projects, agenda and bank) so a single company can manage its whole supply and procurement chain without any third-party software.

It is designed to scale: multi-entity, multi-company and SaaS ready, PHP 8+, available in 5 languages, and architected for future AI, IoT, RFID, WMS/TMS and external connectors (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce).

2. Supply Chain Control Tower (Dashboard)

The home page is a real-time control tower inspired by the supply-chain command centers used by Amazon, DHL and FedEx, built with a premium logistics charter (logistics blue, supply-chain green, flow orange, anthracite).

2.1 Interactive logistics flow map

A clickable map renders the physical flow of goods across the chain, with live counts and flow volumes between each stage:

·       Suppliers: how many active suppliers feed the chain

·       Inbound: inbound flows / pending receipts in transit toward the warehouses

·       Warehouses: number of operating warehouses

·       In transit: goods in transit toward the distribution centers

·       Distribution centers: number of distribution centers

·       Outbound: outbound flows / ongoing deliveries to customers

·       Customers: number of served customers

2.2 Strategic KPIs

Four KPI zones give an instant read on chain health:

·       Procurement: open purchase orders, supplier service rate, average supplier lead time, pending receipts, active suppliers

·       Stock: stock value, stock rotation, stockouts, overstocks, stock movements

·       Logistics: ongoing deliveries, late deliveries, on-time delivery rate, logistics cost

·       Financial: purchase cost, transport cost, storage cost, savings achieved

2.3 Alert tiles and analytics

A row of colored alert tiles surfaces stockouts, late deliveries, pending receipts and open alerts. An analytics zone renders four charts: stock evolution (in vs out), purchase evolution, supplier performance and demand forecast.

3. Functional Modules

3.1 Supplier CRM

A dedicated supplier relationship pipeline with a drag-and-drop Kanban board across six stages: supplier prospect, qualification, audit, negotiation, contract and active supplier. Each supplier file stores full contact details, supplied product categories, incoterms, certifications, lead time and quality/delivery/price ratings, plus a complete history (purchases, evaluations, contracts, alerts) on the card.

3.2 Supplier Management

Advanced supplier file with coordinates, supplied categories, contracts, certifications and evaluations. Built-in indicators measure quality, delivery, price and reliability, with periodic supplier evaluations scoring quality, delivery, price and service into a global score.

3.3 Purchasing

Purchase requests, requests for quotation (RFQ) and supplier orders with multi-level approval. Orders carry the supplier, destination warehouse, expected date, amount, currency, buyer and approver. Purchase orders can be generated automatically from replenishment suggestions.

3.4 Procurement Planning & Replenishment

Requirement calculation and automatic replenishment. For every product/warehouse the module tracks current stock, minimum and maximum stock, reorder point, average historical consumption and a suggested quantity. The Planning page lists items to reorder and lets the user generate a pre-filled purchase order in one click.

3.5 Demand Forecasting

Monthly, quarterly and annual demand forecasts computed from sales history, trend and seasonality, with a confidence indicator. The data architecture is ready for predictive AI in future versions.

3.6 Stock Management

Advanced multi-warehouse, multi-site and multi-location stock with lots, series and expiry dates. A full stock-movement ledger (in, out, transfer, adjustment) records quantity, unit price, lot, warehouse, operator and date.

3.7 Warehouse Management

Warehouses with zones, aisles and locations, type (central, regional, distribution, transit), surface, pallet capacity, manager and a link to the native Dolibarr warehouse. Distribution centers extend this with coverage area and daily delivery capacity.

3.8 Inventories

Rolling, annual and per-zone inventories with planned and done dates, item counts, discrepancy tracking and value adjustments.

3.9 Receptions

Supplier receptions with expected/received/accepted/rejected quantities, quality and quantity control, tracking number and a reception → validation → put-in-stock workflow.

3.10 Shipments

Order preparation, picking, packing and shipping with carrier, tracking number, package count, weight, cost and an on-time flag, plus full delivery-status tracking.

3.11 Transport & Logistics Fleet

Transport trips with carrier, vehicle, driver, origin/destination, distance, mode (road, rail, sea, air), cost and status. The logistics fleet manages trucks, vans and delivery vehicles with maintenance schedule, mileage and fuel consumption.

3.12 Traceability

Complete Supplier → Stock → Customer traceability based on lots and series, with production and expiry dates and a full movement history.

3.13 Supplier Contracts

Framework contracts, negotiated tariffs and logistics terms with negotiated discount, start/end dates, renewal type and expiry/renewal alerts.

3.14 Supply Chain Alerts

A real-time alert center for stockouts, minimum stock, supplier delays, delivery delays and lot expiry. A scheduled engine (cron) scans the chain daily and raises alerts; notifications can be sent by email, WhatsApp and on the dashboard.

4. Business Intelligence Reporting

A complete reporting hub provides 16 ready-made reports grouped by domain, each exportable to PDF, Excel and CSV, and printable:
