1. Overview

Transport BTP turns Dolibarr into a complete operations platform for companies that transport construction materials — concrete, aggregates, sand, asphalt and cement — to building and public-works sites. From a single interface it covers the full commercial and operational chain: multi-criteria pricing, transport quotes, orders, real-time delivery scheduling, fleet and driver management, invoicing, operating costs and decision-making analytics.

The module is fully integrated with Dolibarr's native modules (Third Parties, Users & Permissions, Agenda) and follows the DolibarrModules standard, so it installs, activates and upgrades like any official module. All monetary values are expressed in Moroccan Dirham (MAD) and the interface is available in French, English, Spanish, Italian and German.

2. Functional Scope

2.1 Construction sites & customers

Every construction site (batiment, road, civil-engineering structure, tunnel, dam, earthworks) is tracked with its customer (a native Third Party), city, address, start/end dates, site manager, contract value and progress. The site card acts as a hub showing its deliveries and key figures.

2.2 Multi-criteria pricing

Pricing grids define the transport rate per customer, origin/destination route, material and validity period. Five pricing models are supported: per kilometre, flat rate, per pallet, per tonne and per cubic metre. Rates feed the quote and invoice engines so billing is always consistent with the reference data.

2.3 Transport quotes

Quotes are created quickly from the reference data (customer, site, route, material, transport type) and can be exported as a professional PDF for the customer. Each quote carries its amount, VAT, validity date, sales representative and status (draft, sent, accepted, rejected, pending). The quote history feeds the commercial conversion funnel.

2.4 Transport orders

A validated quote is turned into a transport order (purchase order) capturing cargo type, freight nature, total weight, volume, number of parcels, loading and delivery places, distance, Incoterm, execution date, loading time, delivery deadline and priority. The order status follows the full lifecycle: created → awaiting scheduling → scheduled → in transit → delivered.

2.5 Delivery planning & tracking

Deliveries are scheduled per truck on a daily planning board (hour timeline) and tracked in real time. Each delivery records its site, truck, driver, material, quantity and unit, planned and actual times, delivery-note number and status (scheduled, pending, in progress, delivered, cancelled). Truck trips (rotations) capture distance, quantity carried, fill rate and duration.

2.6 Fleet management

The fleet covers trucks (dump trucks, tipper semi-trailers, concrete mixers, tankers, flatbeds, low-loaders) with their capacity in m³ and tonnes, depot and operational status, and drivers with their licence category, expiry and availability. Maintenance operations (oil change, service, tyres, brakes, hydraulics, bodywork) are planned and tracked per truck.

2.7 Invoicing & operating costs

Transport invoices are generated from delivered orders with amount, VAT, due date, payment mode and status (draft, sent, paid, unpaid, overdue). Operating costs (fuel, tolls, maintenance, tyres, insurance, repairs) are recorded per truck and consolidated in the reporting.

2.8 Contracts, incidents & alerts

Framework contracts (annual, framework, one-off, subcontracting) link customers and sites with planned tonnage. Delivery incidents (delay, breakage, dispute, non-conformity, missing goods) are logged with severity and status. Automatic alerts flag invoice due dates, delivery delays, truck maintenance, expiring licences and contracts, and tonnage overruns.

2.9 Operations dashboard & reporting

The dashboard presents real-time KPIs (active sites, deliveries today, trucks in operation, quantities delivered), the deliveries-in-progress list, the material breakdown, performance indicators (on-time rate, fill rate, average consumption), recent documents and the daily planning. The reporting page adds twelve-month revenue and tonnage trends, material mix, deliveries by status, revenue by customer, operating costs by type, fleet and site breakdowns, and the quote conversion funnel.

3. Business Objects

The module manages sixteen dedicated business objects, all integrated with the native Third Party reference for customers and suppliers.

4. Roles & Permissions

Access is governed by seven permission groups, each with read, write and delete rights (reporting is read-only). Read and write are granted by default on activation so the module is immediately usable; delete and administration are off by default.
